A marine safety and security awareness program has begun in F. Atoll.
The first session of this program, which started yesterday, was held in Nilandhoo of the atoll.
Marine Safety Awareness Program Commences in F. Atoll
During this program, information was provided on important considerations when loading passengers and cargo onto marine vessels, as well as necessary checks to perform before departing on a journey. Additionally, participants were briefed on ways to ensure safety and security while at sea and the procedures to follow in the event of a maritime incident.
The 'Marine Safety and Security Awareness Program', scheduled to run until the fifth of this month, is a collaborative initiative conducted by the F. Atoll Council, the island councils of F. Atoll, F. Atoll Police, and the Marine Police.
