The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has stated that the man who fell overboard from a cargo boat off Villimale' is still missing.
An Indian national fell overboard from the Indian cargo boat "MSV Daula" sometime last night. MNDF said last night that the incident was reported around 11:35 pm.
While the MNDF Male' Area Command Coast Guard Second Squadron commenced the search operation last night, MNDF stated today that efforts to find the man who fell overboard are still ongoing by sea and air. Furthermore, MNDF said that despite the efforts made so far, the man has not yet been found.
