The Maldives has participated in the International Tuna Industry Summit Forum.
This forum is a summit held on the sidelines of the ongoing Shanghai Seafood Expo in Shanghai, China.
Maldives participates in the International Tuna Industry Summit Forum
Representing the Maldives at the forum, State Minister of the Fisheries Ministry Dr. Amzath Ahmed spoke during the first session of the forum. In his speech, he shared the policies being implemented by the government to develop the Maldivian fishing industry and the work planned for the future. He also highlighted the investment opportunities available in the fishing industry.
The 18th Shanghai International Fisheries and Seafood Exhibition, which began yesterday at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, will continue until the 30th of this month.
