The F. Magoodhoo Island Council has once again announced a search for a contractor to build a fish cutting platform in the island's harbour area.
The Magoodhoo Council initially announced the search for a contractor to build the fish cutting platform in March.
The council stated that the previous announcement seeking a party to design and construct the fish cutting platform has been cancelled as no bids were submitted, and a new announcement was made yesterday to find a contractor for the work.
Interested parties are requested by the council to fill out the registration form and email it to procurement@magoodhoo.gov.mv before 12:00 on the 20th of this month. The council stated that parties who do not register will not have the opportunity to submit bids, and those who registered under the previous announcement will be allowed to participate in the bidding without having to re-register.
A non-refundable fee of MVR 100.00 (One Hundred Rufiyaa) will be charged for bid registration, and payments will be accepted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on all non-public holidays. Parties wishing to pay the registration fee online can deposit the money into the council office's account.
The submission of bids for the work is scheduled for 13:00 on the 24th of this month, and the bid opening will take place at 13:05 on the same day in the council office's meeting hall. The council also stated that bids submitted by unregistered parties and bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
The council further stated that only parties registered under the Sole Proprietorship Act and the Business Registration Act are eligible to apply for this work.
Parties requiring further information can clarify details by calling the council office at 6740014. Information can also be clarified via email. Emails should be sent to info@magoodhoo.gov.mv.
