N. Maafaru Council has decided to sell an ice plant under its administration.
According to the public announcement made by the council, the plant being sold is a brand new 15-tonne ice plant under its care. The opportunity to purchase the ice plant through a closed bidding process to the highest bidder was opened today.
Under this opportunity to sell the ice plant via closed bidding, interested parties must submit their bids before 12:00 pm every day. Bids can be submitted using the form attached to the announcement published by the council regarding this matter. In addition to accepting forms at the council office counter, the council stated that forms sent via email (info@maafaru.gov.mv) and Viber (9780055) will also be accepted.
The starting bid for the ice plant is MVR 50,000. The minimum increment for each bid is MVR 500. The council stated that the highest bid submitted by the end of each day will be published on the council's Facebook page. Furthermore, if the highest bid submitted by interested parties remains unchanged for 3 consecutive official days, the auction will be closed in the name of the party that submitted that bid.
For those who wish to view the ice plant, the council stated that arrangements will be made for viewing by visiting the council office between 08:00 am and 2:00 pm every day except public holidays until the auction concludes.
