Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) has launched a leadership visit programme at the Felivaru Fisheries Complex (FFC).
According to MIFCO, this strategic initiative, held from April 16 to 19, aims to increase cooperation between corporate leadership and facility management, align operational and strategic goals, and strengthen a "one team" culture within the company.
MIFCO stated that the four-day programme will feature interactive sessions designed to enhance communication, operational efficiency, and cross-departmental teamwork among the company's senior executives, heads of various departments, and facility staff. The programme includes facility orientation, safety briefings, and guided tours of key operational areas, providing leadership with first-hand insight into day-to-day operations. In addition, it features relationship-building activities between senior executives and staff, collaborative workshops to identify action plans, a fishing trip, and networking events.
As part of this programme, MIFCO CEO Farhath Shaheer held a joint town hall session titled "Building the Future as One Team." Breakout sessions were also conducted following the town hall. Furthermore, heads of various company departments held important discussions regarding the company's strategies.
