The island council has opened the opportunity to lease land for interested parties to build and operate a petrol and diesel shed in the harbour area of M. Dhiggaru.
The Dhiggaru Council stated that an area of 1844.50 square feet from the land adjacent to the eastern cross-pier of the island's harbour is being leased for the oil business. This land, designated for oil business at the island's harbour in the Dhiggaru Land Use Plan, is being leased for a period of 20 years.
The opportunity to submit bids for interested parties was opened on the 17th of this month, and registration for bidding can be done by paying a registration fee of MVR 2,000.00 within the given registration period. The deadline for bid registration will expire at 23:59 tonight.
Bidding is open to companies registered under the Maldives Companies Act, partnerships registered under the Partnership Act, cooperative societies registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, and sole proprietorships registered under the Sole Proprietorship Act.
Bid submission will be held on October 30 at 11:00 in the council office's meeting hall.
