Th. Guraidhoo Council has opened bidding to lease land for fish boiling and salted fish processing on the island.
The council has decided to lease plot number 1 and plot number 2 from the area designated for fish boiling and salted fish processing on the island. Each of these plots measures 3873.03 square feet. The council has decided to lease the land for a period of 10 years through a bidding process. According to the Guraidhoo Council, the minimum bid for the land price is 15 laari per square foot per month. The council also stated that the winning bidders will have to start paying rent three months after taking over the land.
An information session for bidders is scheduled to be held at the council office's meeting hall at 10:00 am on the 8th of this month. The council stated that important points regarding the bid will be shared and bidders' questions will be answered during this session. If there are any questions regarding the bid, emails can also be sent to procurement@thaaguraidhoo.gov.mv before 14:00 on the 8th of this month.
Bid submission and opening will take place at 11:30 am on the 13th of this month at the council office's meeting hall. The council stated that bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Furthermore, the council stated that the bids will be evaluated by a bid evaluation committee selected from among the council office staff.
