Discussions have been held regarding the allocation of land to establish a fish factory in F. Nilandhoo.
The Fisheries Ministry stated that a senior team from the ministry met with the Nilandhoo Council today to arrange the land required for the construction of the fish factory in F. Nilandhoo. The ministry also stated that during this meeting, discussions were held on allocating a portion of the island's industrial zone to establish the factory.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has designated F. Nilandhoo as an urban center and decided to build the central Maldives fish factory on the island.
