The GA. Kondey Island Council has designated a temporary plot of land for pulling up vessels for repair work.
During the 176th meeting of the 4th term of the Kondey Council, a temporary land area was designated for pulling up vessels for repairs because the area allocated for this in the island's land use plan is far from the residential area, lacks road access, and does not have electricity, which was causing difficulties for vessel owners.
The council has now temporarily designated the land located east of the Fenaka Corporation powerhouse on the southeastern side of the island. Yesterday, the Kondey Council publicly announced this and instructed that vessels currently pulled up for repairs in various parts of the island be moved to the newly designated temporary land within one month starting from yesterday.
The council issued this directive to bring a solution to the issue of vessels being pulled up in various random locations across the island.
