Kolhufushi citizens' fishing vessel up for rent

The M. Kolhufushi Island Council has decided to lease out the island's community fishing vessel.

The council has decided to lease the community fishing vessel "Dururaasthaa-8" through a bidding process. It is an 85-foot vessel. The Kolhufushi Council opened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids yesterday.

Kolhufushi Council President Abdul Aleem stated that the opportunity to submit bids for leasing the vessel was opened yesterday. He also mentioned that interested parties can purchase the bid book from the 7th to the 13th of this month, and the price of a bid book is MVR 1,000. Additionally, the President stated that a bid security of MVR 20,000 must be paid.

The submission and opening of estimates for those who wish to bid to lease the vessel will be held on Sunday, the 18th of this month, at 14:00 in the council office's meeting hall.
