Keyolha Team Meets Kolamaafushi Council to Seek Cooperation in Producing Fisheries Content

The meeting with the Keyolha team was attended by the Island Council President, Mussad Saeed, and Vice President, Shahamath Haneef. During the meeting, discussions were held on appointing a focal point from the council to assist Keyolha in producing news, information, and other media content related to the fisheries sector of GA. They also discussed providing assistance for the "Fisheries Journalists" training program planned by Keyolha, as well as conducting joint programs to attract youth to the fisheries sector and familiarize fishermen with related fields.

During the meeting, the Council President and Vice President Shahamath Haneef stated that the areas where the news outlet requested cooperation would benefit the island in various ways, and assured the council's full cooperation in the requested matters.

This meeting is part of a series of meetings conducted by Keyolha to assess the state of fisheries in the islands of GA Atoll, gather information related to the sector, conduct various fisheries-related activities, collect information needed to produce fisheries-related content, and find ways to work collaboratively with the island councils on these matters.
