Keyolha has held discussions with the GA. Vilingili Council to seek cooperation for various planned fisheries-related activities to be conducted in GA. Vilingili.
The meeting, held at the council office this afternoon, was attended by the Vice President of the Council, Ashrag Gadir, council members, and senior staff of the council office, as well as the management and senior members of the Keyolha news team.
The main focus of the discussions was on how the various activities planned by Keyolha in Vilingili could be held in collaboration with the council. In this regard, discussions were held on how the council could support the training program planned to be held in GA. Atoll under Keyolha's "Fisheries Journalists" development program, and the roles both parties could play in conducting the program. Furthermore, discussions were held on programs to raise awareness among fishermen and ways to assist fishermen in creating content. Additionally, discussions were held on Keyolha providing technical assistance in various fisheries-related activities planned by the council.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions to implement the matters discussed and commence practical work. The MoU will be signed in the coming days.
