Innamaadhoo Leases Land for Boat Building and Industrial Work

The Innamaadhoo Council has decided to lease land from the Innamaadhoo industrial zone for boat building and industrial work.

The council has decided to lease a 4,800 square foot plot from the island's industrial area. The land will be leased for a period not exceeding 5 years. The minimum lease rate is set at 45 laari per square foot.

Purposes for which the land can be leased:

• Building wooden and fiberglass boats

• Repairing wooden and fiberglass boats

• Various wooden and fiberglass works

The Innamaadhoo Council has now opened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids to lease the land. To participate in the bidding, the bid registration form must be completed and emailed to the council at info@innamaadhoo.gov.mv or sent via Viber to the council's number: 7380052. The council stated that the deadline for bid registration is 13:00 on Monday, August 25, 2025. The council also noted that forms submitted after the given deadline for bid registration will not be accepted.

Parties eligible to participate in the bidding:

• Businesses registered under the Business Registration Act

• Sole proprietorships registered under the Sole Proprietorship Act

• Registered and active clubs and associations

• Individuals

The Innamaadhoo Council stated that a pre-bid meeting will not be held for this tender. The bid opening will take place at 13:00 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the council office. The council added that only parties who have submitted the bid registration form within the specified period and have been provided with a registration slip will be allowed to participate in the bid opening meeting.
