The Innamaadhoo Council has decided to lease land for boat building and industrial activities.
The Innamaadhoo Council has decided to lease two 1800-square-foot plots from the island's industrial zone. The land is leased for a period not exceeding 5 years.
Purposes for which the land is leased:
1- To carry out wood and fiberglass boat building work
2- To carry out wood and fiberglass boat repair work
3- To carry out various wood and fiberglass works
4- To operate a carpentry
5- To carry out the work of building vessels such as launches and dinghies
6- To carry out the work of repairing vessels such as launches and dinghies
7- To carry out the work of building and repairing vessels such as wood and fiberglass boats/launches/dinghies
8- To store and warehouse goods and materials related to boat building and industrial work
9- To store chemicals
The Innamaadhoo Council has now opened the opportunity to submit bids for those who wish to lease the land. To participate in the bid, complete the bid registration form and email it to the council's e-mail: info@innamaadhoo.gov.mv or Viber it to the council's number: 7380052. The council stated that the deadline for registering for the bid is 13:00 on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The council also stated that forms submitted after the deadline given for bid registration will not be accepted.

The Innamaadhoo Council stated that a pre-bid meeting will not be held in connection with this bid. The council also stated that the bid opening will be held at the council office at 13:00 on Sunday, June 15, and that only those who have submitted the form requesting to register for the bid within the specified period and have been provided with a slip confirming their registration in the bid will be able to participate in the bid opening meeting.
