The Lh. Hinnavaru Council has given a deadline to share information regarding unidentified vessels and other items located in the island's boat haul-out area.
In a public announcement, the island council stated that if any party has vessels or other items in the haul-out area, they are requested to share the information with the council office before 12:00 hrs on Thursday, 25 September 2025.
The announcement further stated that items belonging to parties who fail to share information within the given period will be removed by the council. The council also noted that it will not be held responsible for any damages incurred during the removal of these items.
