HDC gives deadline to remove vessels moored in Thilafushi lagoon

HDC has given a deadline to remove vessels moored in the lagoon of K. Thilafushi.

In an announcement issued yesterday to publicly notify this, HDC instructed the owners of vessels moored in the "E" area of the Thilafushi lagoon to remove them within a week. The announcement stated that if the vessels are not removed within this period, HDC will remove them on their behalf. HDC also stated that it will not take responsibility for any damages caused to the vessels during the removal process.

HDC has ordered the removal of the vessels in order to clean the Thilafushi lagoon. As HDC is working to remove the vessels moored in the area and relocate them to another location to clean the lagoon, HDC has instructed the owners of the vessels moored in the area to call 1516 as soon as possible to clarify information.

HDC noted and thanked the general public and businesses for their continued cooperation with HDC in such matters.
