The Ministry of Fisheries has stated that the government is working to assess the damages to the island's fishing industry and find a quick solution following the fire incident on an oil boat at the F. Feeali oil jetty last Thursday.
The Fisheries Ministry said that a team from the ministry has visited the island to assess the damages caused by the fire to the ice plant operated by MIFCO and some fishing vessels. The ministry also stated that the government is working to find a quick solution for the damages incurred.
