Gaafaru Council to Register Fish Boiling and Drying Workers

The K. Gaafaru Council has decided to compile a registry of individuals engaged in fish boiling and drying on the island.

The Gaafaru Council stated that the registry is being compiled because the council wants to arrange facilities to ensure that the work of such individuals can be carried out as effectively as possible.

Today, the Gaafaru Council opened the opportunity to register in this registry. Accordingly, the council has requested individuals who boil and dry fish in their own homes or in huts built in various parts of the island to share the information required for registration.
