Services have commenced at the ice plant established by the current administration in Sh. Funadhoo.
The ice plant's services were inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. He launched the services of this 30-tonne ice plant, which includes a 50-tonne ice storage facility, during his visit to Funadhoo today as part of his ongoing tour of the inhabited islands of North Miladhunmadulu Atoll.
The Funadhoo Ice Plant is the first ice plant established under the current administration's initiatives to develop fisheries across various regions of the Maldives.
During the President's ongoing tour of the islands in North Miladhunmadulu Atoll, the work to establish an ice plant and ice storage facility in Sh. Komandoo was contracted to Ethion Private Limited yesterday. A 30-tonne ice plant and a 50-tonne ice storage facility will be established on the island.
