The B. Fulhadhoo FAD, which had broken off, was re-deployed today.
The Fulhadhoo FAD was deployed in the same area where the island's previous FAD was located. That is 14 miles west of the island.

Fulhadhoo pole-and-line FAD re-deployed
The Fisheries Ministry is working during this holiday period to deploy FADs that have broken off. In this regard, in addition to the Fulhadhoo FAD, the AA. Maalhos pole-and-line FAD that had broken off has also been re-deployed.
With the re-establishment of these two FADs, out of the 64 FADs in the Maldives' pole-and-line FAD network, only one FAD is currently missing. That is the Th. Hirilandhoo FAD.
