Foreign Workers at Kooddoo Fish Factory Test Positive for Filariasis

Foreign workers at the GA. Kooddoo fish factory have tested positive for filariasis.

Three Indian nationals working at the factory tested positive for the disease. Their positive status was identified during medical tests conducted last Thursday to renew their employment contracts.

All three individuals have now resumed work after receiving treatment at the GA. Vilingili Hospital.

Currently, 395 foreign nationals are employed at the Kooddoo fish factory.
