MIFCO has announced that fishermen will be able to get diesel today from Jazeera-102, the fish purchasing vessel operated by the company in Huvadhu Atoll.
MIFCO stated that the issue with the vessel's generator has been resolved, and it is currently traveling to GDh. Faresmaathodaa after loading fuel from Kooddoo Fisheries. Therefore, MIFCO said that fishermen will be able to get diesel from the vessel today.
In GDh Atoll, fuel is otherwise available in Thinadhoo. Fuel is being supplied to fishing vessels from Mahaakalaminja-401, which is docked at the Thinadhoo harbor.
