Fisheries Ministry to Hold Workshop Tomorrow with Sports Fishing Stakeholders

The Fisheries Ministry has announced that a workshop aimed at sports and recreational fishers will be held tomorrow.

The Ministry stated that this workshop, held to discuss ways to sustainably develop recreational fishing, will take place tomorrow from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Meerumaa.

The workshop is planned to be conducted in two sessions. The first session will provide an overview of the workshop's objectives, current perspectives on recreational fishing, and the importance of data-driven management. The second session will focus on discussing stakeholder concerns and the challenges faced by recreational fishers, according to the Fisheries Ministry.

The workshop will be inaugurated by the Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Ahmed Shiyam.
