Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam is set to participate in the 5th 'Ahaa' public forum, which provides an opportunity to ask questions directly to government ministers.
The 5th forum of the 'Ahaa' series will be held on Monday, the 12th of this month, at 09:00 pm on the state media PSM.
In addition to Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam, Home Minister Ali Ihusan, Education Minister Dr. Ismail Shafeeu, Attorney General Ahmed Usham, and Agriculture Minister Dr. Mariyam Mariya will participate in this forum.
The opportunity to submit questions to the participating ministers in this forum, held jointly by the President's Office and Public Service Media (PSM), is now open. Accordingly, arrangements have been made to participate in the forum and ask questions to the ministers via the PSM Air app. Furthermore, those who wish to participate in this forum can also go to the venue and submit questions live.
Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam also participated in the 'Ahaa' forum held on April 30 last year. During that forum, the Minister highlighted the work planned by the government to advance the fisheries industry. He also noted the various challenges facing the fisheries sector and fishermen, and shared updates on the efforts being made to resolve them. Additionally, the Minister gave assurances at the forum that all challenges facing the fisheries industry and fishermen would be resolved.
The 'Ahaa' forum is an initiative announced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to provide information to the public about the government's ongoing work from the ministers, and to give the public an opportunity to receive direct answers from the ministers to their questions. This forum is a presidential pledge of the President, as well as an effort to ensure his government works as closely with the people as possible and to encourage the government's work to be carried out in the most transparent manner.
