Fisheries Minister Meets with Turkey's Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry

Minister of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources Ahmed Shiyam has met with Turgay Türkyılmaz, Director General of the Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture at Turkey's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

During this meeting, Turgay Türkyılmaz delivered a special message sent by the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, regarding increasing cooperation to develop the fisheries and agriculture sectors of the Maldives.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Fisheries stated that the two officials highlighted the long-standing close relationship between the two countries and discussed strengthening ties and enhancing participation in strategic areas of development for both nations.

Some senior officials from the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources also participated in this meeting.
