Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam has met with the M. Dhiggaru Council.
Regarding the meeting, the Ministry stated that Minister Shiyam held important discussions with the Dhiggaru Council members. In this regard, detailed updates and the latest information regarding the planned neighbourhood fish factory project to be established in M. Dhiggaru were shared.
During the meeting held at the Fisheries Ministry, the Minister noted the low participation of youth in the fisheries sector and shared information on training programmes planned for this year aimed at the youth. Furthermore, the Minister highlighted the importance of working together to resolve other challenges in the fisheries sector following broad discussions on these issues.
