Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam has participated as a panelist in the largest underwater panel discussion held to date.
Aiming for a world record, Ooredoo Maldives organized this event underwater near B. Fulhadhoo on the third of this month, and Ooredoo has successfully secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
While 20 people participated in this event held in connection with Ooredoo's anniversary, Fisheries Minister Ahmed Shiyam is among the 5 panelists who spoke on the panel. They spoke for more than two minutes during the panel discussion.
In addition to Minister Shiyam, the panel also featured Ooredoo CEO Khalid Al-Hamadi, the company's Operations Director Shabeen Ali, Transmission Senior Manager Afsheen Mohamed, and Brigadier General Mohamed Saleem from MNDF.
This event, which will be written in world history, demonstrates the extent to which Ooredoo prioritizes innovative work. Ooredoo's CEO Khalid Al-Hamadi stated that this achievement is a connection between the natural beauty of the Maldives and innovative work.
In 2022, the Maldives set a record for the most people diving at the same time. 455 people participated in that record.
