The Fonadhoo Council has decided to build a fish market in the L. Fonadhoo harbour area and has opened bidding to find a contractor for the project.
In the announcement published yesterday, the council stated that it is seeking a party to construct the fish market and has opened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids to carry out the work using their own materials, in accordance with the information provided by the council.
Parties wishing to participate in the bid must complete the bid registration form and submit it before 13:00 on Monday, the 24th of this month. The council stated that a bid registration slip will be issued upon submission of the form.
Companies registered under the Maldives Companies Act, partnerships registered under the Partnership Act, cooperative societies registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, and sole proprietorships registered under the Sole Proprietorship Act are eligible to participate in this bid.
A fee of MVR 150 must be paid to purchase the bid document. The deadline for bid submission is 13:30 on December 03. The council stated that bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. The council also noted that bids will be opened in the presence of the parties attending the bid opening meeting once the submission deadline expires.
The announcement published by the council includes the bid information sheet, the market drawing, and all other information important to bidders attached together.
