MNDF Southern Area Command, Thinadhoo Fire Station has commenced a fire awareness program specifically for the employees of Kooddoo Fisheries Complex (KFC).
MNDF stated that the sessions of this program, which began today in Kooddoo, will continue for a duration of three days. MNDF also noted that 436 employees of Kooddoo Fisheries Complex will participate in this program.
In these sessions, participants will be taught basic information on the causes of fires, how fires spread, and how to extinguish them. Additionally, MNDF stated that the sessions will demonstrate practical fire extinguishing methods, teach firefighting skills, and train the employees on how to practically put out a fire.
MNDF mentioned that firefighters from the MNDF Southern Area Command, Thinadhoo Fire Station will act as instructors in these sessions.
