A fishing tournament has been scheduled in GDh. Faresmaathodaa to celebrate the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
The tournament, named "Mas Race 2026", is organized by the island's civil society organization, Faresmaathodaa Youth Sports Club.

The Faresmaathodaa Youth Sports Club stated that teams wishing to participate in the fishing tournament can register by calling 9944690 or 9888865. Registration for the tournament will be open until 12:00 pm on the 18th of this month.
The club said that the first-place team in the tournament will receive a prize of MVR 5,000, and the person who catches the biggest fish will be awarded MVR 500.
