The distribution of canned fish cases, provided by the government as a Ramadan gift to every household for the blessed month of Ramadan 1447, has been concluded in the Greater Male' region.
Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Adam Shareef Umar, shared in a post on 'X' last night that the distribution of canned fish cases in the Greater Male' region was completed by last night.
The Minister stated that for those who have not yet collected their Ramadan gift for any reason, canned fish cases will still be issued until the first day of Ramadan. Accordingly, arrangements have been made to issue canned fish cases from the MIFCO center in Male' from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm, the Minister said. The Minister also thanked all those involved in the distribution of the Ramadan gifts.
In accordance with the pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the distribution of the government's Ramadan gift to every household in the Greater Male' region began on the 24th of last month. The canned fish cases were issued based on domestic electricity meters. The number of registered domestic meters in the Male' region is 65,230.
