Dhoni carrying garbage runs aground

A dhoni travelling to K. Thilafushi carrying garbage from Manafaru Resort in HA. Atoll has run aground.

MNDF stated that the MNDF Northern Area Command Coast Guard First Squadron received information around 11:24 pm last night that the dhoni named "Guruva 1", travelling with one Maldivian and two expatriates, ran aground near N. Kudarah.

Upon receiving information of the incident, the MNDF Northern Area Command Coast Guard First Squadron's harbor craft travelled to the area, provided assistance to the three crew members on the dhoni, and took them aboard the harbor craft. MNDF stated they were taken to N. Holhudhoo around 08:45 am today.

MNDF also stated that everyone travelling on the dhoni is in good condition.
