A reef fishing competition has been scheduled in GA. Dhaandhoo as part of the activities to celebrate this year's Eid al-Adha.
The competition, open to both male and female residents of Dhaandhoo, will be held on the 9th of this month. The council stated that a maximum of 10 teams can participate in the race, with a maximum of 5 members per team. The council also stated that individuals will have the opportunity to participate alone.
Prizes will be awarded to the team that weighs the most kilograms. Prizes:
The council stated that an assistance of MVR 400 will be given to each vessel participating in the race, and that such assistance is provided to encourage participation in the fishing competition.

The council stated that all the fish caught in this race will be used for the "Eid Barbecue".
