Deadline Given to Remove Abandoned Vessels in Thulusdhoo Harbour

The K. Thulusdhoo Island Council has ordered the removal of unused or abandoned vessels moored in the island's harbour.

The Thulusdhoo Council stated that a public announcement has been made ordering the owners of unused, moored, and sunken vessels in the harbour to remove them from the area before this coming Thursday.

The council also stated that if the owners fail to remove the vessels within this period, the council will remove them, and will not be held responsible for any damages incurred during the removal process.

The Thulusdhoo harbour was built under IDB loan assistance and officially opened for use in 2018. It is 800 feet long and 300 feet wide. The Thulusdhoo Council is currently working on constructing a jetty alongside the harbour.
