The deadline to participate in the fishing competition, which is among the activities planned by the North Maalhosmadulu Dhuvaafaru Council to celebrate this year's Eid al-Adha, has been extended.
The initial deadline given by the council for interested teams to register expired on 07 May 2026. However, as many parties are requesting to participate in the fishing competition, the council stated that the deadline has now been extended until 14:00 on 20 May 2026 to provide the opportunity for as many people as possible to join in the Eid festivities. Parties wishing to participate in the fishing competition must submit their application forms to the council office before 14:00 tomorrow.
