Coral planting event to be held in Hulhumale and Kudagiri

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has decided to hold a special coral planting event in Hulhumale and Kudagiri.

Scheduled for May 13, this event is a special coral planting initiative carried out by HDC to maintain the natural beauty of the Hulhumale Channel Park area and the Kudagiri "Dhooniyaa Dive Wreck" and to revitalize marine life.

HDC has now opened the opportunity for civil society organizations wishing to participate in the event. In an announcement regarding this, the corporation stated that the opportunity to participate is open to environmental protection organizations active in the Male area, and requested interested organizations to email cest@hdc.mv.

This event was initiated with the aim of increasing community participation in HDC's activities, along with revitalizing marine life. HDC stated that it hopes this project will bring new life to marine ecosystems and provide significant assistance in maintaining the beauty of the environment.

The corporation expressed its gratitude for the cooperation provided by various associations and organizations in carrying out such environment-related projects.
