Condition of shark attack victim improving: IGMH

The hospital has stated that the condition of the man injured while fishing near the reef edge of HDh. Kulhudhuffushi on the 19th of this month is improving.

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) said that his condition is now improving and he is receiving treatment in the ward.

The victim of this incident, which occurred last Saturday, is Hamid Abdul Wahhab from Kali, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi. He was attacked by a shark shortly after getting into the water to fish with a group of others.

Due to the shark bite, his arm, shoulder, and ribs were severely injured, and his shoulder joint was dislocated.

Hamid was brought to Male' and began receiving treatment at IGMH on Saturday night.
