The MNDF Coast Guard has urged vessels travelling in the area to be cautious as a capsized dhoni is drifting at sea.
MNDF stated last night that the dhoni capsized 0.33 nautical miles north of Vammaafushi while travelling from Male' to K. Maafushi. MNDF also stated that when the dhoni capsized, the 3 people on board swam to a safari moored near Maafushi, and none of them were injured.
Following this incident, MNDF has urged those travelling through the area to pay attention. MNDF has also urged those travelling through the area at night to pay special attention during their journey.
