The Coast Guard has begun searching for a man who fell overboard from a cargo boat off the coast of Villimale.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that the person who fell overboard from the Indian cargo boat off Villimale is an Indian national. MNDF also said that the incident was reported to them around 23:35 tonight.
The MNDF Male' Area Command Coast Guard Second Squadron is currently conducting the search operation for the missing person.
