The Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, which is organizing the distribution of canned fish cases given by the government to households as a Ramadan gift, has stated that the distribution during Ramadan will take place at night.
An announcement published by the Ministry regarding this stated that the canned fish cases being distributed as Ramadan gifts in the Male' region will be distributed from 09:30 pm to 11:30 pm. It also stated that the canned fish cases will be distributed from the previously designated centers.
According to the announcement, canned fish cases will also be issued tonight from 09:30 pm to 11:30 pm. It also stated that there will be no distribution tomorrow.
The government began issuing the canned fish cases being distributed to households as a Ramadan gift to the Male' region on the 20th of this month. The canned fish is being issued from 13 designated centers. The canned fish is issued by taking a token in advance from a special portal designated for this purpose. The government has stated that even though the month of Ramadan has begun, the arrangements will continue until the canned fish cases are distributed to all households in the Male' region.
Giving a case of canned fish to every household as a Ramadan gift is a special pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. In accordance with this pledge, a case of 48 cans of 180g MIFCO's Fasmeeru brand tuna chunks in oil is being gifted to households.
