Teams participating in this sports fishing tournament traveled to their preferred fishing areas yesterday and last night. A total of 9 teams are participating in the tournament, including anglers from outside the Maldives. The Global Ambassador of Maldives Sport Fishing, Fly Navarro, is also participating in this tournament. He is a world-renowned and skilled angler.
The teams competing in this tournament are Siren of the Sea, Captain Boat Club, Silent Hunter, Baros Maldives, Ifuru, Team Dubai, Malahini, Shuruno, and Dash Maldives.
This is the largest sports fishing tournament held in the Maldives, opened to international teams for the first time. The tournament is organized by the Visit Maldives Club (VMC) of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
