Work has begun to tow the "Life Line" boat to Lh. Naifaru after its engine failed while traveling from Male' to Lh. Naifaru.
The boat's captain, Shaadhil, said that they are working to take the boat to Lh. Naifaru, and it is being towed by a Sh. Atoll fishing vessel named "Thuhufaa". The captain said that no one traveling on the boat was harmed, everyone is in good condition, and the people on the boat have been taken to Naifaru.
The captain of the Thuhufaa vessel towing the boat, Mohamed Hassan, said that they have now entered Lh. Atoll and are currently traveling near Lh. Madivaru.

The "Life Line" boat, which departed from Male' with 40 people and was traveling to Lh. Naifaru, had its engine fail while traveling east of Kaashidhoo. Following this incident, MNDF stated that two harbor craft launches of the MNDF Coast Guard First Squadron and a Coast Guard Gulf Craft launch are active in transporting the people on the boat to Naifaru. Women and children were also traveling on the boat. MNDF stated that the report of this incident was received around 08:15 this morning.
