Bidding Opened to Lease Kolhufushi Citizens' Fishing Boat

The M. Kolhufushi Island Council has decided to lease the citizens' fishing boat "Dururaasthaa-8" through a bidding process.

The Kolhufushi council opened the opportunity today for interested parties to submit bids to lease this 85-foot boat.

The Kolhufushi council stated that interested parties can purchase the bid document from today until 14:00 on June 26, and the price of a bid document is 1,000 Rufiyaa. In addition, the council stated that a bid security of 20,000 Rufiyaa must be paid.

The submission and opening of bids for leasing the boat will be held at 13:00 on Thursday, July 03, 2025, at the council office's meeting hall. The council stated that bids from parties who do not attend on time will not be accepted.

This is the second time the council has announced the lease of this boat. The last announcement was made on the 6th of last month.
