The South Maalhosmadulu (B. Atoll) Council has temporarily suspended the marine license services it had been providing.
In an announcement published today to inform the public, the council stated that the marine license services provided by the council administration will be temporarily suspended starting today, as the Transport Ministry is working on making changes to the marine license book.
The council said that a date to resume the marine license services will be publicly announced as soon as the Ministry amends the marine license book and sends it to the council.
