The B. Atoll Council has resumed the service of issuing marine vessel driving licenses.

Last October, the council temporarily suspended the marine license issuance service as the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation began working on bringing changes to the marine license book. At the time, the authority stated that the service would resume as soon as the amended marine license book was received.

Yesterday, the council resumed the suspended "marine license service". Therefore, all services for obtaining a license to drive motorized marine vessels will now be available through the council. This includes conducting practical exams and issuing license books.
