Angolhitheem Council requests the installation of a sports fishing FAD

R. Angolhitheem Council has requested the Fisheries Ministry to install a Fish Aggregating Device (FAD) specifically for sports fishing.

The council made the request to install the FAD during a meeting held yesterday between the council and the Fisheries Ministry.

While the council requested the installation of a FAD specifically for sports fishing near Angolhitheem during this meeting, extensive discussions were also held regarding opportunities available in the fields of fisheries and agriculture.

The meeting was attended by the Ministry's State Minister Mohamed Muttalib and some senior officials of the Ministry.
