The project to establish a 30-tonne ice plant and a 60-tonne ice storage facility in M. Mulah has been awarded to 3 Way Enterprises Private Limited.
The agreement was signed between the government and 3 Way Enterprises Private Limited during a ceremony held to meet the residents of Mulah, as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's ongoing tour of inhabited islands in four atolls.
Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources Ahmed Shiyam signed the agreement on behalf of the government. Director Dr. Ikleel Shareef signed on behalf of 3 Way Enterprises Private Limited.
This project is being carried out under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of 3 Way Enterprises Private Limited, the company awarded the mariculture project in Male' Atoll. The Fisheries Ministry stated that the work on the ice plant in Mulah is scheduled to be completed within 8 months.
