A trolling FAD has been deployed off Hdh. Makunudhoo.

During the ongoing trip by the Fisheries Ministry team to the northern atolls, the Makunudhoo FAD was deployed on October 6th, 4 miles southeast of the island. The number of this trolling FAD is D08V02. The location where this FAD is established is:

Establishing and maintaining the FAD network is an important effort carried out under the government's fisheries development policy. These FADs, established to further advance fisheries, will provide great convenience to fishermen in the areas where they are deployed, especially young fishermen and those involved in sports fishing.
