45 marines from the MNDF Marine Corps have participated in "Exercise Ekuverin".
"Exercise Ekuverin" is a joint military exercise conducted by MNDF and the Indian Army. Held biennially, alternating between India and the Maldives, the 14th edition of this training commenced yesterday in Trivandrum, India.
Scheduled to run for a duration of 14 days, this year's "Exercise Ekuverin" training will continue until December 16, with 45 marines from the MNDF Marine Corps participating in the exercise.
The commander of the MNDF contingent in this exercise is Major Abdul Haseeb Ibrahim, the Operations and Training and Education Director of the MNDF Marine Corps Headquarters.
